Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 624! We are located in Arlington, Virginia, a county in Northern Virginia directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. We meet Tuesday evenings in the St. Ann parish hall. Our Troop was first chartered in 1949 and has been continuously since.
Troop 624 is part of the Chain Bridge District of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and we participate in National, District, and Council events as well as our own Troop events. Some of our upcoming activities include summer camp at the Sinoquipe Scout reservation in Fort Littleton Pennsylvania, District Camporees and Projectorees, Klondike Derby, Scouting for Food, Troop campouts and hikes, and many other Troop and District activities.
New Scouts are always
welcome in Troop 624; you don't have to be affiliated with any particular school or church and you don't need any previous Scouting experience. If you are interested in joining our troop, or learning more about us, please contact Troop Committee Chairman Ted Knight at (703) 532-2210 or email him at tnight@erols.com .
