Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients:

1/2 stick margarine or butter
-
2 cups Buttermilk
-
1 egg
-
Pinch of Salt
-
Small handful of Sugar
-
2 teaspoons Baking power
-
Some Flour
Directions:

Melt margarine or butter in skillet and let cool.
- Pour buttermilk into a bowl or pot.
- Add egg, sugar and salt.
- Then add baking powder and watch it foam (stand back!).
- Pour in cooled melted butter.
- Add flour until you get the right consistency, stir until just combined.
- Spoon onto hot griddle, flip when bubbles form on top.
- Serve with real maple syrup (Rob's preference), strawberry jam, or cheap maple syrup.
