hi ted, just saying hi and updating you on what's going on down here. still stationed at ft hood in texas. i'm a battle captain for a signal battalion down here, but still just a 1st LT. i deployed to the middle last october when we started bombing afghanistan. it seems funny but i have used all of the skills i learned in boy scouts all of the time through the last 6 yrs in the army. at times, it's given me quite an advantage and of course, it's a great comfort to have such a repository of experience and knowledge to use toward tactical advantage when you have 60 guys' lives on the line. thank you to you and all of the scout leaders who taught me these skills and set me on the path of being a good leader. sincerely, bryson |
